Men's Soccer Welcomes Back Distinguished Group For Homecoming Match

A total of 20 men's soccer alumni were honored during Saturday's match
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team recognized 20 alumni on Saturday during halftime of Creighton's Homecoming match against Butler. The Bluejays defeated the Bulldogs, 3-0, in front of 4,711 fans.Â
Creighton owns five College Cup appearances (1996, 2000, 2002, 2011, 2012), 11 Elite Eights and 14 Sweet 16 trips. The Bluejays have qualified for the NCAA Tournament 24 of the past 26 seasons. Additionally, the Bluejays claim 13 regular-season conference titles and 13 conference tournament titles. Creighton has also appeared in the national polls at least three weeks each season since 1991, including a total of 13 weeks as the No. 1 team.Â
