Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton women's basketball team faces a stern test in its lone exhibition game of the 2019-20 season as the Bluejays take on the defending national champion of NAIA II, the Concordia (Neb.) Bulldogs.

- Creighton and Concordia (Neb.) have met 11 times during the regular-season, with the Bluejays taking nine of those contests.
- The last time the two teams met in an official game came in 1980. Creighton has won the last five meetings and is 6-0 against the Bulldogs at home.
- While Creighton has three freshman on its roster this season, the Bulldogs have only one addition to its 2019 NAIA II National Championship squad.
- The Bluejays are led by returning senior Jaylyn Agnew, who was second in scoring for Creighton last season at 11.8 ppg.
- Concordia, meanwhile, returns three players that averaged double-figures last season in Taylor Cockerill (15.4 ppg), Philly Lammers (14.7 ppg) and Grace Barry (11.5 ppg).
- Thirteen of the 15 members of the Bulldog roster hail from Nebraska, while the Bluejays also have five combined from Nebraska (two) and Iowa (three).
- Creighton opens its regular-season on Tuesday, Nov. 5 on the road at Nebraska-Omaha.
- Concordia kicks off the 2019-20 season on Oct. 25 at Sterling College.
- Last season Creighton finished 15-16 (8-10 in BIG EAST action), the Bluejays were the only team to post victories over each of the top two seeds in the conference. The Bluejays defeated second seeded DePaul 85-82 in Chicago when the Blue Demons were ranked 19th. Creighton's win over Marquette, 71-65, came in Omaha when the Golden Eagles were ranked 13th.
- Concordia wrapped the 2018-19 season with a 35-3 record, including 19-3 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs went on to claim the NAIA II National Championship with five consecutive wins in Sioux City, Iowa (March 6-12).
