Baseball Begins Two-Game Set at Minnesota

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton baseball squad begins at two-game midweek set with Minnesota on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:00 pm. The second game is slated for Wednesday, March 11th at 6:00 pm.

Series with Golden Gophers: Creighton trails Minnesota, 25-22
Creighton trails Minnesota 25-22 in the complete series. The last meeting between the two teams came in 2018, with the Bluejays taking two of three at Minnesota.
Scouting the Golden Gophers (2020: 6-10, 0-0 Big Ten)
Rounding out a 14-game homestand, Minnesota enters the midweek series with the Bluejays at 6-10 on the season. The Golden Gophers are 4-8 at home, dropping five of six.

average to US Bank Stadium.
On the mound the Bluejays have a team ERA of 3.64, led by emerging ace Dylan Tebrake and his 1.14 ERA in 23.2 innings. Closer John Sakowski earned his second save of the season in the win on Saturday, tossing three innings of scoreless relief.

Creighton Baseball's weekend series (March 13-15) against Central Connecticut State was cancelled as the Blue Devils declined to travel to Omaha.
Tebrake Collects Spot on BIG EAST Honor Roll
Tebrake moved up to 3-1 on the season, limiting Portland to one run on three hits over six innings. The righty hurler recorded three strikeouts and issued three walks in Creighton's 6-1 win on Saturday.
