Flanery versus Williams
Jim Flanery and Nebraska head coach Amy Williams have faced off during each of the past nine seasons, with Flanery getting the best of the exchanges, 7-2.
Williams, however, led her squad to victories in both WNIT meetings. Williams was the coach at South Dakota for four seasons (12-13 to 15-16) before taking the reins of the Huskers four seasons ago.

The Huskers enter the intrastate battle with the Bluejays sporting an unblemished record for the third consecutive
season.
Nebraska opened the season with three straight home games, besting Maine (108-50 on Nov. 9), Prairie View A&M (102-47 on Nov. 11), then defeating Alabama A&M (88-33 on Nov. 14).
The Huskers have gone deep into its bench this season, with 13 players seeing the court. Isabelle Bourne has led the way thus far with 17.7 ppg, while Jaz Shelley is just behind with 12.7 ppg and 8.0 rpg.
Nebraska has been highly impressive on the offensive end, shooting 55.3% from the field as a team and holding the opposition to just 27.6%.
Scouting Creighton (1-1, 0-0 BIG EAST)
The strength of Creighton's start to the 2021-22 season has been its depth. The Bluejays went 11 deep in the opening game at Drake and played 10 in the win over Omaha.
Against the Bulldogs it was the second unit that helped Creighton rally from a 17-point deficit late in the third quarter to knot the game in the final minute. Versus the Mavericks the spark for Creighton was reserve guard Molly Mogensen with eight assists and four steals.

Four Bluejays enter the game with Nebraska averaging double-figures led by 12.0 ppg by Lauren Jensen and Emma Ronsiek. Morgan Maly is slightly back at 11.5 ppg, while senior Tatum Rembao enters the contest averaging 10.0 ppg.
Keys To the Game on Wednesday, Nov. 17
In the opening game at Drake, the Bluejays were led by 15 points from sophomore Morgan Maly. Against the Mavericks Lauren Jensen delivered a team-high 16 points, while Carly Bachelor has 13. Creighton is a team that does not rely on one player, that allows the Bluejays to play the hot hand.Â

Keys To the Game on Wednesday, Nov. 17
- Three-Point Shooting: Creighton hit 13 treys in the win over the Huskers last season. The Bluejays have 22 three-pointers in two games, while Nebraska has 27 in three.
- Points in the Paint: The Bluejays allowed Drake to score 46 points in the paint in the opener. As a result Omaha entered the game with a goal to get a post touch on every play. The Bluejays will see a heavy dose of balls going inside until they prove it can defend the interior.
- Ball Movement: The team that is able to share the basketball, creating assists for each other will seize an advantage.
In the opening game at Drake, the Bluejays were led by 15 points from sophomore Morgan Maly. Against the Mavericks Lauren Jensen delivered a team-high 16 points, while Carly Bachelor has 13. Creighton is a team that does not rely on one player, that allows the Bluejays to play the hot hand.Â
