Flanery vs. Georgetown
Flanery has guided Creighton in every meeting with the Hoyas, holding a 13-4 mark against Georgetown.
Scouting Georgetown (3-3)
After opening the season on the road at Navy, Georgetown has played five consecutive games at home. A low scoring team built on defense, the Hoyas average 63.8 points per game (ppg) this season, yet allow just 58.3.
The tandem of Milan Bolden-Morris and Kelsey Ransom guide Georgetown's offense with 13.5 and 12.3 ppg respectively. The bulk of the Hoyas' offense comes from the starting five, getting 47.8 ppg (75%) from the starting core.
Bolden-Morris is the biggest outside threat for Georgetown,
hitting 18 of the squad's 29 three-pointers this season
Head coach James Howard is back for his 5th season. Under Howard Georgetown has relied on defense, but this season the Hoyas have been a bit loose with the basketball, committing 119 turnovers in six games (19.8 per game).
Scouting Creighton (3-2)
Sophomore Emma Ronsiek became the first player to repeat as Creighton's scoring leader with 25 points in the Bluejays' 79-72 win over Northern Iowa on November 27. The South Dakota native also delivered 18 points in the Bluejays' win over South Dakota State on November 21.
During the 2021-22 season the Bluejays have spread the minutes around to 11 different players, with at least 10 seeing time in each of the first five contests.
The diverse array of options lead to four unique players leading the team in scoring in the first four contests.
Ronsiek is the offensive leader with 16.0 ppg, while reserve Morgan Maly is second on the squad with 12.0 ppg. Creighton has been adept in the early season at sharing the basketball, averaging better than 20 assists per game with 101 assist in five contests.

Keys To the Game on Friday, Dec. 3
- The Battle of the Boards: Each time Creighton and Georgetown meet, the rebounding battle is critical. While the Bluejays are longer and taller this season than at any time since joining the BIG EAST, Georgetown will still have a size advantage in the post.
- Ball Security: Typically this key references Creighton's ball security, but with Georgetown averaging close to 20 turnovers per game it is an issue for the Hoyas. Can Creighton take advantage of Georgetown miscues or can the Hoyas clean up this area.
- Tatum Rembao and Kelsey Ransom: Rembao played just seven combined minutes in the Bluejays' three victories over Georgetown last season. Her ability to execute Creighton's offense is a key for the Bluejays. Conversely Ransom had 22 points against Creighton at D.J. Sokol Arena last season, then accounted for just 12 points in the next two matchups.
