OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked 20th in this week's AVCA Top 25 poll, moving up one spot after being idle last weekend.

The Bluejays are 4-2 this season and have not played since splitting a pair of matches vs. then-No. 25 Marquette on Feb. 5-6.

This week marks the 59th consecutive week the Bluejays have been ranked when eligible, the nation's 10th-longest active streak. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 73 all-time polls, and every poll since Oct. 31, 2016. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

Creighton (4-2) is one of two BIG EAST teams that are ranked this week, as Marquette (6-2, 2-0 BIG EAST) jumped from 25th to 24th after a pair of victories vs. DePaul last weekend.

Creighton is also one of three schools to be ranked in the top-20 in both the Associated Press men's basketball poll and the AVCA women's volleyball poll this week, joining Baylor and Texas.

Creighton opens BIG EAST play on Friday, Feb. 19th, when it travels to Milwaukee to take on No. 24 Marquette for a pair of matches.
