Bluejay Baseball Adds Three-Game Home Series with San Jose State

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Baseball program has added a three-game home series with San Jose State beginning Saturday, April 17 at 4:00 pm. The series will continue on Sunday, April 18 at 4:00 pm and conclude on Monday, April 19 at 1:00 pm.

The series with San Jose State came together following the cancellation of the Bluejays' BIG EAST series with Connecticut this weekend due to COVID protocols within the Huskies' program arose.

Creighton (9-7) and San Jose State (3-5) met for the first time last season as the Bluejays dropped a three-game series in San Jose, Calif. in late February.

The Spartans' 2021 season did not begin until March 27 due to COVID restrictions, then San Jose State saw its weekend series with UNLV cancelled to set the stage for this trip to Omaha.

Tickets for the Bluejays' cancelled series with Connecticut can be used for the series with San Jose State this weekend.

Saturday's contest will be aired on NET (Nebraska Educational Television), while the remaining two games will be available via Jays Video on YouTube.
