Rowing Places 21 on WCC All-Academic Team

Graham and Strobbe Highlight Bluejays' Honors, Earning Spots on All-Academic First Team
San Bruno, Calif. -- Creighton Rowing easily outpaced the rest of the WCC placing 21 student-athletes on the WCC
All-Academic Teams, announced June 11. Bluejay senior Katie Graham and junior Gretchen Strobbe highlighted Creighton's 21 members recognized, earning a spot on the 17-member All-Academic First Team. For Graham it was her third time on the WCC All-Academic First Team, while Strobbe collected the top honor for the second time.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each CC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
No fewer than 80 student-athletes qualified for academic honors. More than 50 posted a GPA of at least 3.50, while 33 posted marks of 3.75 or better.
The Bluejays placed an additional 19 team members who earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention. Creighton's 21 honorees led the WCC followed by Gonzaga (13), San Diego (12), Portland (11), Saint Mary's (7), Santa Clara (7) and Loyola Marymount (6).
