Women's Golf GPA Recognized by WGCA

Bluejays 3.828 GPA ranks 24th-best in the nation
CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The Creighton women's golf team has been honored for having the 24th-best GPA in Division I, the fourth time in the last eight years that the Bluejays have been recognized.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA Awards recognize the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all of the team's student-athletes for the 2020-21 season. Creighton's 3.828 GPA just made the cut inside the top-25.
Earlier this month, Creighton had five women recognized by the WGCA as All-American Scholars. Those Bluejay honorees included freshman Katie Berrian, sophomores Claire Orcutt and Gabby Tremblay, junior Katie Allen, and senior Margaret Hickey. In addition, Creighton collected the BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award recognition for the second consecutive season. All nine women's golfers landed on the Dean's List in the spring semester. The Bluejays are coached by Debbie Conry.
In recent seasons, Creighton was fourth in 2014-15, fifth in 2013-14 and 21st in 2015-16 in the national race to top the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award.
Leading Division I with a 3.993 GPA was New Mexico, while topping Division II was Davenport University with a 3.915 GPA. Macalester College led Division III with a 3.944 average GPA and in NAIA, Ottawa College – Arizona led the division with a GPA of 3.921.
The WGCA also announced the top 25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as the top 10 teams for NAIA. They are as follows:
