OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton softball head coach Brent Vigness announced the addition of former Bluejay Mileah McKelvy to his coaching staff for the upcoming season.Â
McKelvy made 118 starts and played in a total of 150 games during five seasons at Creighton from 2016-2020. The Omaha native posted 94 RBIs and launched 15 home runs. She also ranks seventh in Bluejay history for career hit by pitch with 19. During the shortened 2020 season, McKelvy paced Creighton with six multiple-RBI games and posted a .284 batting average, .320 on-base percentage and .433 slugging mark in 25 games.Â
