Bluejay Women's Soccer Delivers Dominant Performance, Settle for 0-0 Draw

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton women's soccer team dominated South Dakota on Thursday, September 2nd, but the Bluejays had to settle for a 0-0 draw with the Coyotes.
The Bluejays moved to 3-1-1 on the season following the match, while South Dakota closed the contest 0-2-1.
A one-sided battle saw Creighton's offense tally 29 shots, possessing the ball for 66% of the match. Defensively the Bluejays did not allow a shot from South Dakota.
Leading the way in attempts in the game were senior Cristina Garriga and junior Aida Kardovic. Garriga had several dangerous chances, hitting a crossbar in the second overtime.
The Bluejays return to the pitch on Sunday, September 5th as Creighton hosts South Dakota State at 3:00 pm.
