Creighton closed its season 8-4-8 overall, while Georgetown advanced to face Xavier in the BIG EAST Championship with a record of 13-1-5.

The Bluejays returned to the pitch with new vigor in the second half, becoming the more aggressive team. Creighton out shot Georgetown 9-5 in the second half, creating all six corners in the final 45 minutes.
Once more the Bluejays best chance came with just over 10 minutes remaining as Ariana Mondiri's shot on a breakaway inside the box glanced off the right post.
