Players to Watch for Creighton - Tatum Rembao:
Rembao is the leader of the Bluejay squad. She played a season-high 35 minutes at DePaul and will be in her third game in five days. Rembao will need to muster another level of energy for Sunday's contest.
Bluejays' Push Win Streak at DePaul to Four
In each of the last four seasons, Creighton has gone to Chicago and pulled off a surprising win. The last time the Blue Demons dropped home contests to the same team in three consecutive years goes back to 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 against Notre Dame.

Creighton Seeks Elusive Chicago/Milwaukee Sweep
Since joining the BIG EAST prior to the 2013-14 season, Creighton has yet to post a road sweep of their Midwest rivals (Marquette and DePaul). Often travel partners, the Bluejays have nabbed a victory at DePaul in each of the last four seasons, but dropped the game with Marquette on the same trip.
Bluejays' Snag Chicago Win By Doubling Up DePaul 24-12 in the Fourth Quarter
Trailing 56-53 entering the final frame at DePaul the Bluejays outscored the Blue Demons 24-12 over the last ten minutes. One surprising aspect of the dramatic shift was the Bluejays posted the victory without a three-pointer in the period.
Chicago Proving to Be a Bluejay Kind of Town
Each of the Bluejays' four victories against DePaul over the past four seasons has brought something unexpected.
In Creighton's 85-82 win on Dec. 29, 2018 the Bluejays got a career-high 20 points from Brooke Kissinger. She finished 7-of-8 from the field, including 6-of-7 from long range in the win. In two seasons at Creighton, Kissinger did not top seven points in any other game.
Playing without the 2019 BIG EAST Player of the Year, Jaylyn Agnew, Creighton rallied from a 40-21 halftime
deficit to earn a 63-61 win. Olivia Elger finished with a career-high 28 points, including 16 in the second half.
Last season saw the Bluejays play without starting point guard Tatum Rembao or backup Molly Mogensen due to injury and illness. Despite committing 22 turnovers, the Bluejays found a way to shoot 58% (29-50).
This season Creighton outscored DePaul 30-0 off the bench as the Blue Demons used just seven players.

Scouting Marquette (16-5, 9-3 BIG EAST)
Playing a heavy schedule at the Al McGuire Center this season, the Golden Eagles are an impressive 11-1 at home in 2021-22. The only blemish was a 58-55 loss to Villanova on Jan. 16.
The trio of Lauren Van Kleunen (14.1 ppg), Karissa McLaughlin (13.5 ppg) and Jordan King (11.7 ppg) guide the Marquette offense.
Yet the strength of the Golden Eagles is their defense and attention to the glass. Marquette allows just 54.9 ppg, 21st in the NCAA. The Golden Eagles average 41.9 rebounds per game and force just under 17 turnovers per game.
Scouting Creighton (16-6, 11-3 BE)
Throughout the 2021-22, Creighton has showed the ability to adapt to what is being offered by the opposition. Friday was another example.
DePaul made a concerted effort to defend the three and the Bluejays were shot just 4-of-17 as the game moved to the fourth quarter. Coach Flanery and the Bluejays began to attack the basket over the final 12 minutes. The result was a 20-6 run as a 24-12 fourth quarter to convert the 77-68 win.
Sophomore Emma Ronsiek has been the Bluejays most prolific scorer this season at 14.8 ppg. With Lauren Jensen and Morgan Maly at 11.7 ppg and 11.5 ppg, respectively.
The key to Creighton's attack is ball movement. The Bluejays enter Sunday's contest in the top five of the NCAAÂ in Assist-to-Turnovers (1.53), Assists Per Game (20.3) and Assists (447). Senior point guard Tatum Rembao stirs the drink for the Bluejays with 132 assists.

Keys To the Game on Sunday, Feb. 6
- Toughness: Marquette is a physical team that defends for 40 minutes. The Golden Eagles try to grind opponents down on the glass and convert turnovers into layups. Â
- Ball Security and Rebounding: These two areas are products of the first. Creighton authored a gritty effort at DePaul, claiming the battle on the glass 42-38. In the first meeting the Bluejays out rebounded Marquette 40-29, but committed 28 turnovers.
- Limiting Two of Marquette's Big Three: In the first meeting the Bluejays held King, McLaughlin and Van Kleunen to a combined 23 points, 14 by King. Â
