Rowing Falls to Kansas State

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Rowing team went down to Kansas State in the final home regatta of the 2022 season on Sunday, April 24.
Creighton dropped four of five races in a day heavily impacted by severe winds in the Omaha area.
The Bluejays had a misfire with one of their oars in the V8 race, forcing Creighton to suffer a close defeat in the opening race.
Moved from the original race date of April 23 due to windy conditions. Sunday didn't prove much better as the two teams faced choppy conditions and a heavy tailwind. The conditions necessitated pushing the five races to be held from 8-9 am.
The Bluejays return to the water on Saturday, April 30 in a battle with Tulsa and Oklahoma.
