Baseball Opens Final Homestand with Cox Kids Day

Omaha, Neb. -- The final three home games of the 2022 Baseball season feature special events for every contest. Friday will bring better than 6,500 kids from throughout the area for Cox Kids Day at the Ballpark. Saturday is the annual Military and First Responders Game, expected to bring another group of better than 6,500. Finally on Sunday the Bluejays will honor their seniors in their final home game of the season.

There's a good chance that Andrew Meggs will play second base and be penciled into the leadoff spot when the Bluejays take the field.
Meggs is the only Bluejay to start every game at the same position this season (2B), as well as the only Bluejay to hit in the same line-up position (leadoff) this season.
Return of Cox Kids Day on May 13
Creighton Baseball is happy to announce the return of Cox Kids Day at Charles Schwab Field Omaha on May 13.
The series opening game against Butler is at 11:00 a.m., allowing children from throughout the Omaha Metro area to take a few hours away from their normal school day to take in a Baseball game.
The last Cox Kids day was played during the 2019 season, on May 14 against Omaha.
Breaking Down the BIG EAST Tournament
With two weeks remaining in the regular season, one of the four spots in the BIG EAST Tournament is locked up. The conference leaders Connecticut has punched its ticket, while the other three slots remain up for grabs.
