- Starting at second and leading off in each of Creighton’s 49 contests, Meggs slashed career highs of .324/.412/.443, leading the Bluejays with 50 runs scored.
- A Second Team All-BIG EAST selection, Andrew delivered 18 extra base-hits including three home runs.
- Meggs hit safely in 37 of the Bluejays’ 49 games, including 20 multi-hit games and a stretch of 13 hits in five games from March 10 to March 20.
- Twice last season Andrew posted four hits in a game, going 4-for-5 in Creighton’s 8-7 win at Xavier on April 29.
- The other four-hit game saw Meggs go 4-for-6 with three RBI and three runs scored in the Bluejays’ 14-6 win over Butler on May 14.
- Andrew led Creighton to a 4-2 mark in a pair of critical series with Seton Hall and at Xavier, over the six games Meggs went 15-for-26 (.577) with 13 runs scored and five RBI.
- Andrew was a Second Team All-BIG EAST selection.
- He saw action in 39 games, making 37 starts at second base in the 2021 season.
- Andrew closed the year with a .309 average, 13 RBI, eight doubles, 17 walks and scored 35 runs.
- He recorded 18 multi-hit performances, including a run of seven straight multi-hit games between March 20 and April 11.
- Meggs also continued his spectacular defense in 2021 and was named one of three NCAA D1 finalists for the Rawlings Gold Glove at second base after posting a .978 fielding percentage.
- Andrew collected three hits in back-to-back games, while scoring three runs in Creighton’s wins over Bradley (March 27-28).
- In a COVID shortened season, Meggs solidified his position as a starter at second base, getting the nod in 14 of 15 games delivering excellent defense with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
- In a Feb. 21 win over San Jose State, Andrew went 2-3, including a base-clearing triple.
- Meggs finished the season with a .250 average, .328 on-base percentage, and only six strikeouts across 52 at-bats.
- Andrew saw action in 27 games, making two starts in the 2019 season.
- Meggs finished the season hitting .241 with seven hits, three RBI, and five runs scored.
- He delivered his first hit in his first at-bat as a Bluejay on Feb. 23, scoring a run in Creighton’s 11-7 win over McNeese State.
- Meggs delivered RBI singles in Bluejay wins over Seton Hall (April 19) and Villanova (May 19).
- Andrew used his redshirt option during the 2018 season.
- Meggs claimed three letters in baseball, playing a total of 87 games for the Chargers. He posted a .481 average as a senior, with 39 hits in 27 games.
- Andrew earned a slot on the All-State Second Team with his production at the dish as well as 16.1 innings on the mound with a 2.57 ERA.
- Meggs’ uncle Lindsay was the head coach at Washington (2010-22). In addition, Andrew has a cousin that played for Washington (Jack Meggs, 2014-17), while another that played at Kansas (Matt McLaughlin, 2015-17).
- His best baseball memory is winning the BIG EAST Championship in 2019.
- Andrew's favorite class taken at Creighton has been Strategic Management with Dr. Taylor Keen.
