Manhattan, Kan. -- Creighton Baseball suffered a 10-0 loss at Kansas State on Monday, April 10.
The loss moved the Bluejays to 14-12 on the season, while the Wildcats climbed to 21-14.
Kansas State took a 2-0 lead in the fourth, scoring on consecutive RBI doubles from Kaeleen Culpepper and Roberto Pena of Bluejay reliver Cade Lommel.
The Wildcats taked on two more in the sixth, then plated six in the seventh to earn the victory.
Lommel took the loss (0-6), allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in 1.2 innings.
Kansas State starter Collin Rothermel picked up the win (1-1) with six shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out six.
Creighton returns to action this weekend as the Bluejays head to Washington, D.C. to face Georgetown in a three-game BIG EAST series. First pitch on Friday is slated for 5:30 p.m. (CT).
