Creighton Student-Athletes Excel in the Classroom

OMAHA, Neb. – The grades are in for the Fall 2023 semester, and Creighton student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom.

Creighton student-athletes owned a 3.49 semester GPA, and the average team GPA 3.52 was the best mark for a fall semester this century in a year not affected by COVID-19.

Among the highlights…

Forty-four of Creighton's 281 student-athletes owned a perfect 4.00 GPA this fall.
Eighty-six percent of Creighton's student-athletes owned a GPA of 3.0 or higher and 59 percent of Creighton's student-athletes owned a GPA of 3.5 or better in the fall semester.
Creighton Women's Cross Country had a department-leading 3.82 GPA, with 7-of-18 women earning perfect 4.00 GPA's.
Creighton Men's Cross Country topped all men's teams with a 3.73 GPA, its eighth straight semester with a team GPA of 3.7 or higher.
Creighton Women's Tennis had its 15^th straight semester with a 3.56 GPA or better.
Creighton Baseball and Men's Basketball posted its highest GPAs this century.
Creighton Volleyball compiled its fifth straight semester of 3.50 or better, its best five-semester period academically this century.
Every team exceeded its 20-year average GPA entering the semester.
