Mallory Brake and Lauren Jensen combined for 34 points against the Musketeers, including a career-high 17 from Brake. Ronsiek leads the Bluejays with 17.8 ppg, while Jensen brings 17.0 ppg. Morgan Maly is just a step back with 14.8 ppg to form Creighton's Big Three.

- Ball Security: DePaul is going to force turnovers, but the Bluejays will need to be smart with the basketball.
- Ball Movement to Find Open Looks: Another aspect of ball security is understanding that the Blue Demons' defense can be susceptible to giving up open looks if your offense can be patient.
- Slowing Peoples and Allen: In Chicago the Bluejays were adept at frustrating Peoples (10 points on 19 shots), but Allen finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Holding the duo to a combined 32 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists is a dangerous stat line for Creighton.
