Inclement Weather Forces Weekend Schedule Changes for Baseball

Omaha, Neb. -- Due to inclement weather including snow flurries this morning in the Omaha surrounding area, the Creighton Baseball series with Portland has been altered. Tonight's series opener with the Pilots has been postponed.

The series will now begin with a single game on Saturday, March 9 starting as schedueld at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday, March 10 the two squads will play a doubleheader with the first game set to begin at 12:00 p.m. Sunday's doubleheader will begin with a nine inning game, while the second contest will be scheduled for seven innings.

The Pilots are slated to return to the Pacific Northwest late Sunday evening, thus a no new inning time will be set by the two coaches prior to the start of the final game on Sunday.

Tickets for cancelled game can be exchanged for any remaining regular season home games by contacting the Creighton Ticket Office located inside the Ryan Athletic Center (open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays).
