Arilla, Ramadan, Reed and Savich Claim All-BIG EAST Honors

Omaha, Neb. -- Four Bluejays were rewarded for their strong play throughout the 2025 season by BIG EAST coaches on Wednesday, November 12. Junior Miguel Arilla earned All-BIG EAST First Team, junior Matthew Reed claimed All-BIG EAST Second Team, while graduate student Omar Ramadan and junior Andrija Savic each earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Third Team.Â
Earning All-BIG EAST First Team honors for the first time in his career and his second career All-BIG EAST honors, Arilla closed the season with a team high in goals (6), assists (4), and points (16). Arilla saw action in all 16 matches, starting 12 and playing 825 minutes. He delivered at least one point in nine matches, highlighted by a three-point effort (one goal and one assist) in Creighton's 2-0 win over DePaul on September 27.Â
Reed earned his first-ever postseason award by being selected for All-BIG East Second Team honors this season. Matthew logging 1,048 minutes, appearing in 15 matches, including 14 starts. The Bluejays' defensive leader, Matthew, contributed three goals and tied the team lead with four assists, totaling 10 points. Reed's best match was a three-point performance in a 2-0 victory against Denver on September 5, in which he scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute and assisted in another goal in the 89th minute to close out the match. Reed earned BIG EAST Defender of the Week once and BIG EAST Honor Roll once.
Ramadan and Savic earned their first postseason honors, claiming All-BIG EAST Third Team honors.
Ramadan closed the 2025 campaign, tallying three points with one goal and one assist. In a pivotal conference match against Butler, Omar scored the first goal of the match and capitalized on assisting on an Arilla goal a few minutes later to put the game out of reach and secure a 3-1 Creighton victory over Butler on October 25.
Savic appeared in 15 matches, earning 15 starts and playing 1,327 minutes. The Creighton defender was impactful on the defensive side of the pitch in playing 90 minutes in 13 matches this season.Â
