Men's Basketball to Meet Oregon in Players Era Men's Championship on Thursday

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's basketball will face Oregon on Thursday to close out play at the GEICO Players Era Men's Championship in Las Vegas.
Creighton's battle against the Ducks will take place at Michelob ULTRA Arena at 1 p.m. Central on Thursday, Nov. 27.
Both teams are 0-2 this week in Las Vegas. Oregon leads the all-time series 3-2, but Creighton won an 86-73 double-overtime game on March 23, 2024 the last time the teams met. That encounter came in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Oregon is led by Dana Altman, who coached the Bluejays from 1994-2010 before being replaced by current CUÂ head coach Greg McDermott.
Thursday's contest will air on truTV.
