• Also converted 42.2 percent of his 154 attempts from three-point range.
• Ranked 13th in Big Ten in minutes (32:18) and three-pointers per game (2.03), 16th in field goals (180) and 19th in the league in scoring (14.4).
• Reached double-figures in 27 games, with six 20-point contests and 15 games of 15 points or more.
• Owned nine games with three or more three-pointers.
• Had 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting to go along with five assists and four rebounds against South Dakota (Nov. 12).
• Scored 10+ points in 12 straight games from Nov. 26-Jan. 17.
• Finished with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting and grabbed six rebounds against Northwestern (Dec. 3).
• Made a catch-and-shoot three-pointer from 33 feet with 0.8 seconds remaining for his first career buzzer beater, a shot that was ESPN SportsCenter’s No. 1 Play of the Day on Dec. 3.
• Scored career-high 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting, making a career-best seven three-pointers in win vs. Nebraska (Jan. 7). Also had seven assists, six rebounds and four steals against the Huskers, making him the first major conference player to finish with that stat line (or better) since LSU’s Ben Simmons in 2015.
• Dished a career-high eight assists against Penn State (Jan. 24).
• Netted 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting against Purdue (Feb. 4) and scored 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting in the road win at Rutgers (Feb. 12).
• Reached double-figures in final eight games, including an 18-point, seven rebound, four assist game against Michigan State (March 6) and a 21-point outing against Illinois (March 13) in the Big Ten Tournament.
2023-24: Sophomore at Iowa
• Honorable Mention All-Big Ten choice was also named Iowa’s Most Improved Player and Best Defensive Player.
• Appeared in 34 games with 20 starts, averaging 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
• Shot 55.2 percent from the floor, 42.1 percent from three-point range and 86 percent from the free throw line.
• Had 19 steals and a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Scored in double figures in 11 games.
• Finished with four 20-point contests, including three straight games from Feb. 24-March 2 when he averaged 21.3 points on 68.4 percent shooting (61.5 percent from three-point range).
• Made his first career start at Iowa State (Dec. 7).
• Drained a season-high five three-pointers vs. Nebraska (Jan. 12).
• Finished with 21 points, four rebounds and five assists at Minnesota (Jan. 15).
• Made 9-of-15 field goals en route to 20 points against Illinois (Feb. 24).
• Went 8-of-10 from the floor, scoring 20 points against Penn State (Feb. 27).
• Netted a season-high 24 points, making 9-of-13 field goals and four three-pointers at Northwestern (March 2).
2022-23: Freshman at Iowa
• Played in 31 games off the bench, totaling 62 points, 28 rebounds, 28 assists, seven steals and three blocks.
• Posted season-highs in scoring (10) and minutes played (31) in an overtime win over Michigan (Jan. 12).
• Dished out a season-best five assists in back-to-back games against Michigan (Jan. 12) and Maryland (Jan. 15).
Abraham Lincoln High School
• Three-year team captain, who surpassed 1,000 career points.
• Averaged 20 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game prior to suffering season-ending injury in January of his senior year.
• Three-time First Team all-Missouri River Conference selection and City Player of the Year.
• Third team All-State as a sophomore and First Team All-State as a junior.
• Shot 50 percent or better from the field his first three seasons of prep basketball.
• Averaged a team-best 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a junior, when he shot 54 percent from the field, 38 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the foul line.
• Averaged 17.5 points and 5.1 rebounds as a sophomore after scoring 10.2 points per contest as a freshman.
• Three-time academic all-conference honoree.
