Softball Cancels Road Trip to Texas Due to Inclement Weather

OMAHA, Neb. – Due to inclement weather in the San Marcos, Texas area this weekend, the Creighton softball team has elected to cancel its trip to the lone star state.
The Bluejays were scheduled to play five games against Kansas, Southern Illinois and Texas State, but with forecasts calling for temperatures in the low 40's and rain all day Saturday, as well as Texas State altering the schedule to a Sunday/Monday tournament, Creighton elected to cancel its road trip this weekend.
Creighton will now return to the field on Feb. 28 when they travel to Santa Barbara, Calif. to play five games at the UC Santa Barbara Tournament.
