Second straight year he's been honored
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton junior Grant Feldman has been named Second Team All-BIG EAST for the second consecutive season.
The recognition makes Feldman the third player in program history to be honored multiple times by the BIG EAST, joining two-time First Team selection Nate Vontz (2021, 2022) and two-time Second Team pick Charlie Zielinski (2021, 2022).
Feldman landed Second Team All-BIG EAST plaudits after posting a 72.30 scoring average, CU's sixth-best single-season mark in the last 22 years. The Austin, Texas, product fired par or better in 15-of-27 rounds, including a low of 68 (-5) at Throwdown Up Top at Landmand (Oct. 9). He owned five top-10 finishes, including three top-five performances.
Marquette senior Patrick Adler was named BIG EAST Player of the Year and his teammate Vincent Cervantes was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Year. The NCAA Scoreboard Collegiate Rankings were used to determine the individual winners and an All-BIG EAST First Team and All-BIG EAST Second Team.
By a vote of the league's head coaches, the Marquette coaching staff was chosen BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year. The Golden Eagles, who are led by head coach Steve Bailey and assistant coaches Jordan Niebrugge and Josh Robinson, were the BIG EAST team champions at the recent BIG EAST Championship played at Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, S.C. The Golden Eagles won five team tournament titles during 2024-25.
Creighton finished the 2024-25 season last week in third place at the BIG EAST Championships, matching the program's best result at a league tournament since 2007.
