Former Bluejay Will Robertson Gets Call from Toronto, Third Creighton Alum to Reach MLB this Season

Omaha, Neb. -- Former Bluejay outfielder Will Robertson (2017-19) earned his first call up to the Major League Baseball (MLB) on Wednesday, June 11. Robertson played 153 games over three seasons for Creighton, hitting .307 with 30 home runs and 147 RBI.Â
Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 2019 MLB Draft, Robertson has steadily worked his way through the Toronto system. He has played for Buffalo (AAA) for the past two seasons, appearing in 171 games with 31 home runs and 106 RBI.
Robertson will shortly join two other Creighton players that made their debut this season as Alan Roden (Toronto) and Ryan Fitzgerald (Minnesota) each earned MLB playing time this season.
