
Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. – High-caliber non-conference matches against Oklahoma, Duke, Western Michigan and Arkansas highlight the 2025 Creighton Women's Soccer schedule released on Thursday, June 5 by head coach Jimmy Walker.
Coming off one of its best seasons in nearly a decade, the Bluejays will once again face a loaded scheduled that ranks as one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country. The slate features five matches against teams that reached the 2024 NCAA Tournament and nine regular season contests inside Morrison Stadium.
The season beings in early August with an exhibition match against North Dakota State on Aug. 2 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Bluejays will then wrap up preseason friendlies with a home match against former Missouri Valley Conference rival Drake on Aug. 7.
Creighton opens the regular season on Aug. 14 with a match at Oklahoma, then takes on Kansas City three days later (Aug. 17) before returning to the friendly confines of Morrison Stadium for the home opener against Iowa State in the second annual Tea Cup Game on Aug. 21.
The Bluejays then close out the month of August with a pivotal road trip to Kalamazoo, Mich. for a match against Western Michigan on Aug. 28 before flying east for a matchup against perennial power Duke on Aug. 31. Duke finished last season with an 18-3-1 overall record and claimed the ACC Regular Season championship, before advancing to the College Cup for the fifth time in program history.
CU will open play in September with four consecutive home matches, beginning with its 11th annual Socctoberfest match against Arkansas on Sept. 5. Creighton continues play on Wednesday, Sept. 10 as it hosts crosstown rival Omaha in its annual Kicks For A Cure contest before wrapping up non-conference play with Senior Day against South Dakota on Sept. 14.
The Bluejays remains at home as it opens BIG EAST play on Sept. 20 against three-time defending BIG EAST regular season champions Georgetown. CU then makes its first BIG EAST road trip of the season the following week as it visits Villanova on Sept. 24, before returning home to square off against Marquette (Sept. 27) and Xavier (Oct. 1).
Creighton will then be on the road for three straight matches as the team makes trips to Connecticut (Oct. 4), Providence (Oct. 11) and DePaul (Oct. 18) on three consecutive Saturdays.
Closing out the regular season with three more BIG EAST contests, the Bluejays kickoff the final stretch with a key home match against Seton Hall on Oct. 22. CU will hit the road one final time, traveling to Butler on Oct. 25 before wrapping up the regular season on Nov. 1 with a home match vs. St. John's.
The Maryland Soccer Complex will host this year's BIG EAST Championships Presented by JEEP from Nov. 6-9, which will pit the top four teams in the league standings against each other.
