Senior wins second straight honor

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton's Grant Feldman repeated as BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Feldman won his first tournament at the collegiate level with a 9-under 207 to help Creighton men's golf tie for second place at the Bluejay Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday. The Austin, Texas native fired scores of 67-70-70 for a 207 aggregate.

A senior, Feldman broke his previous personal 54-hole scoring best by two shots with a 207 total, which is tied for the fifth-best score in program history. He now owns 10 career top-10 finishes, with seven finishes in the top-five.

Feldman is Creighton's first men's golfer to win multiple Player of the Week awards in the same season since John Sutko in 2006-07. Sutko finished that campaign as the Missouri Valley Conference medalist.

The Bluejays will hit the links once again on September 22^nd and 23^rd when they play in the Git-R-Done Invitational at Firethorn Golf Course hosted by Nebraska next week.
