Men's Golf Adds Kansas State Transfer Tyler Strong

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's golf has signed Kansas State transfer Tyler Strong. The Olathe, Kan., native will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Strong competed in seven events in his first two seasons at Kansas State, owning a 74.30 scoring average in 20 rounds.
Strong owned a 73.58 scoring average while competing in four events as an individual in 2024-25, with three Top 20 finishes. He tied for 13th in his debut at the Wildcat Invitational (Sept. 16-17), tied for 17th at The Prestige Individual (Feb. 17-19) and tied for 19th at the Shocker Invitational (Oct. 6-8).
Last fall Strong played in three competitions, owning a 75.38 scoring average. His best finish was a tie for 16th place at the Wildcat Invitational (Sept. 8-9).
Named the 2023 Kansas Junior Player of the Year by Central Links Golf, Strong was ranked as the 180th-best recruit nationally by Junior Golf Scoreboard. He won the 2023 Kansas Junior Amateur and qualified for the 2023 US Amateur. Strong posted six wins while in high school, where he was a 4.0 student and set a school-record with a low round of 67.
