Hauer accepted the Director of Baseball Operations role in the fall of 2018.

Originally from Yankton, South Dakota, Hauer earned his undergraduate degree from Creighton in 2016 in business administration.He completed his law degree in the spring of 2019 from Creighton Law and is currently working towards a masters in investment management. He expects to complete his second advanced degree in the spring of 2020.

Hauer’s responsibilities include coordinating special events (such as parents’ weekend and the annual steak fry), administrative duties (including coordinating travel and recruiting arrangements related to official visits).
