2015-19 (Grand Island High School)
- An accomplished all-around athlete, Evans earned a combined seven letters at Grand Island HS in baseball (four) and football (three).
- Evans was the Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year in 2019, hitting .556 for the Islanders with 30 RBI and 30 runs scored.
- He also delivered 15 doubles, two triples and a home run, while tossing 41 innings on the mound with 34 strikeouts, 16 walks and a 3.41 ERA.
- A three-time Super-State Selection by the Lincoln Journal Star, Evans also collected three All-Heartland Athletic Conference selections.
