Getting to Know Jaxon Goldberg
- Goldberg appeared in 12 games. He notched two runs scored and one hit, that single coming in the NCAA Regional against Arkansas on May 31.

- Jaxon did not play during the 2024 season, using his redshirt option.
2020-23 (Blue Valley North HS)
- While in high school, Goldberg was a three-sport letterwinner in baseball, basketball and football, earning 6A offensive finalist and All-State honors in football, and Second Team All-State in basketball.
- A versatile athlete, he helped his basketball team win a state title as well runner-up finishes in football and baseball.Â
- Jaxon played club for Building Champions in Overland Park, Kansas.Â

- What is your favorite food? Hibachi steak and shrimp with extra fried rice and vegetables
- Who is your favorite MLB team? Kansas City Royals
- Who was your favorite athlete growing up? Ben Zobrist
- Where did you first fall in love with baseball, and who put the first glove in your hand? Fell in love with baseball from a young age, going to all the Royals spring trainings for spring break. My dad put the glove in my hand.
- Who is the GOAT of baseball? Bobby Witt Jr.
- What’s your favorite restaurant in Omaha? Omaha Taphouse or Hiro 88
- If you didn’t play baseball, what other sport would you have played? Football
- What’s your earliest baseball memory that still sticks with you today? I remember playing coach pitch on the fields that don’t have fences in the back of an elementary school we’d always play at.
- What’s a hobby or talent you have that people wouldn’t expect from a baseball player? I read my bible before every baseball game.
