2017-18: Junior at Creighton
• Named Second Team All-BIG EAST after being named preseason Honorable Mention All-BIG EAST in 2017-18.
• Shared BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year accolades in 2016-17 before winning the recognition outright in 2017-18. He joins an elite group of two-time winners, including Kris Dunn, Allen Iverson, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo and Patrick Ewing.
• Scored in double-figures while making 50 percent or better of his shots from the field in 13 of his last 15 games, and hitting 60 percent or better of his shots in 10 of those contests.
• Ranked third in the BIG EAST with 1.7 steals per game.
• Ranks 30th in Creighton history with 1,140 career points.
• Has scored in double-figures in all but four games this season, and made a three-pointer in all but seven contests.
• Ranked as nation’s 67th best player by NBCSports.com and 70th-best by CBSSports.com in the preseason.

• Tabbed BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, Creighton’s second player ever to those honors for a league, joining Gregory Echenique in 2011-12 in the Missouri Valley Conference.

• Contributed 16 points and six rebounds in season-opening win over UMKC (Nov. 11).

• Produced his first double-double with 18 points, career-high 12 rebounds and four steals in win over Buffalo (Nov. 29).
• Showed off his all-around game with nine points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in win vs. Akron (Dec. 3).
• Had seven points and 10 rebounds in win at Nebraska (Dec. 7).

2015-16: Freshman at Creighton
• Averaged 6.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, starting 28-of-34 contests.
• Upped those averages to 12.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in three NIT games.
• Became first true freshman since 1988 (Latrell Wrightsell) to start CU’s first exhibition game, then became third true freshman in 20+ years (Ryan Sears, Doug McDermott) to start the regular-season opener.
• Started team’s first 24 games.
• Scored 18 points against Texas Southern (Nov. 14), most by any Bluejay freshman in a debut since 2007.
• Scored in double-figures with 11 points at No. 14 Indiana (Nov. 19).
• Sank 8-of-11 shots and scored 18 points in 17 minutes vs. Western Illinois (Nov. 28).
• Drained 9-of-10 shots from the floor, including 4-of-4 trifectas, to score 22 points in 28 minutes at Loyola (Chicago) (Dec. 5). His shooting percentage was the second-best (min. 8 FG made) by a Bluejay since 1994, and his 22 points were the most by a CU freshman in a road game since Rodney Buford had 22 points on Feb. 3, 1996.
• Approached a triple-double with nine rebounds, seven points and seven assists vs. Nebraska (Dec. 9) after entering the game with five assists in CU’s first eight games.
• Made 5-of-6 shots and totaled 13 points and eight rebounds in win vs. IUPUI (Dec. 12).
• Had 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists vs. Coppin State (Dec. 28).
• Finished with 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals vs. Alabama in his NIT debut (March 15).
• Scored in double-figures during consecutive games for the first time when he followed up the Alabama game with 13 points vs. Wagner (March 19).
• Third on the team with 12 dunks.
Summer 2015: Italy Trip
• Tied for team lead in rebounds (6.3 rpg.) and was second in scoring (13.7 ppg.), assists (3.0 apg.) and steals (2.7 spg.) on Italy trip.
• Sank 18-of-29 field goal attempts (62.1 percent).
Fork Union Military Academy
• Averaged 18 points and seven rebounds per game.
• Fork Union Military Academy is located in Fork Union, Va., and counts Vinny Testaverde, Eddie George and Cardale Jones as famous alums.
• Fork Union Military Academy has a strict curfew, requires uniforms while on campus, allows only restricted use of computers and television, and does not permit cell phones.
• Coached by Matt Donohue.
Benson High School
• Led the state of Nebraska’s Class A scorers as a senior with 19.2 points per game, and surpassed 1,000 career points in his high school career.
• Also averaged 6.9 rebounds per contest.
• Named the captain of the 100th Omaha World-Herald’s 2014 All-Nebraska Team after leading the Bunnies to the state tournament.
• Scored 78 points at the 2014 state tournament to lead Class A.
• Coached at Benson by former Creighton big man Donnie Johnson.
• Was awarded NebraskaHSHoops.com’s inaugural “Mr. Basketball” award, given to the top male high school player in Nebraska.
