2016-17: Senior at Creighton
• Was leading the nation in both assists (162) and assists per game (8.5) before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Jan. 16 at Xavier.
• Had season-ending surgery in Philadelphia on Feb. 6.
• One of 20 preseason candidates for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award, one of 50 preseason candidates and 25 midseason candidates for the John R. Wooden Award, and one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award.
• Despite injury, still leads the nation’s active players with 801 career assists and was eighth with 187 steals and 11th with a 2.12 assist/turnover ratio when he got injured.
• Second player in program history to be named Preseason First Team All-BIG EAST, joining Doug McDermott (2013-14).

• Practiced, but could not play or travel while redshirting due to his transfer to Creighton.
2013-14: Sophomore at Boston
• Led the Terriers to the NIT and averaged 13.3 points, 7.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
• Ranked third nationally with 7.1 assists per game and 248 total assists.
• Had school-record 17 assists vs. Army (March 8), one of four games he had with 12 or more helpers.
• Had 13 points, six assists and two steals against eventual NCAA champ Connecticut (Nov. 17).
• One of eight players since 1997-98 to have a season with at least 150 two-point field goals, 225 assists and 50 steals, joining an elite group that includes Trey Burke, Jonny Flynn, John Wall, Kyle Anderson, Jay Williams, Jerian Grant and Kris Dunn.
