Bio
2016-17: Freshman at Creighton
• True freshman wing who is program’s first player from the Philippines.
• Has won a pair of FIBA dunk contests.
• Boasts a tremendous social media following, with over 118,000 Twitter followers (@_kokoparas) and over 472,000 Instagram followers (_kokoparas).
• Played his final two years of high school in Los Angeles.
• Scored his first regular-season points as a Bluejay against Washington State (Nov. 18), finishing with three points, four rebounds and one steal in 17 minutes.
• Scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting, including his first regular-season dunk, in win vs. Longwood (Dec. 9).
• Snared two rebounds in three minutes at Georgetown (Jan. 25).
• Made his NCAA Tournament debut vs. Rhode Island, finishing with three points and a rebound in two minutes (March 17).

• Moved from the Philippines to Los Angeles in the middle of the 2013-14 school year, and played his junior season at Cathedral.
• Averaged 15.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in his lone year with the Phantoms to earn First Team All-Del Rey League honors.
• Tabbed a four-star recruit by Scout, and a three-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals.
• Honor Roll student and member of the National Honor Society who graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Middlebrooks Academy
• Played his senior year for Middlebrooks Academy in Los Angeles, Calif, while attending Cathedral High School.
• Was coached by William Middlebrooks.
• Participated in the adidas Nations and adidas All-American Camp, and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee.
• Played AAU for Compton Magic.
• Helped team to Prep Elite Conference-6 title with a 13-2 record in league play.
• Named No. 10 player in California by 247sports.com.
La Salle Greenhills
• Represented the Philippines in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships in both 2013 and 2015.
• Won the Slam Dunk contest at both events.
• Also represented his home country at the FIBA Asia U18 3x3 Championship in Bangkok, as team finished fifth.
