2014 Track: Competed Jim Duncan Invitational at Drake University running a 15:35.
2013 Cross Country: Scored at the BIG EAST Conference meet running a PR of 26:12. Was the first Bluejay finisher at the Woody Greeno Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. Also competed at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Oklahoma, finishing 28th amongst D1 men.
High School: Four season Johnston High School varsity runner. Competed at the Iowa State Cross Country meet 2010, 12-13 placing 63rd, 36th, and 13th respectively. He competed at the Heartland Classic meet finishing 11th, and 4th at the 2013 CIML conference championship earning All-Conference Honors. Finished All-District in 2013, placing 6th.
Personal: Born October 13, 1995 in Johnston, Iowa…Son of Patrick and Laura Rice…brother of Kristina Rice…ran cross country starting in 7th grade and gave up soccer in 9th grade for cross country and track.
