A reliable baserunner and defender who saw action in 32 games and earned one start ... Notched one hit across seven at-bats and came around to score three times ... Utilized as a defensive replacement 16 times, recording 13 putouts and 13 assists to just one fielding error ... Made collegiate debut as a pinch-runner against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 8 ... Scored game-tying run in the Bluejays' 3-1 win over Morehead State (Feb. 14) ... Notched first career hit and scored a run in a 6-1 victory at Providence on March 8 ... Recorded a season-high three putouts against Butler (April 11) ... Made first career start, recording a putout and an assist against Seton Hall on May 2.
Francis Howell High School
A graduate of Francis Howell High School in Missouri, McCutcheon was a four-time varsity starter and letterwinner for the Vikings ... Battled through injuries as a senior to guide Francis Howell to a 2023 Missouri Class 5A State Championship, finishing the year with a .223 batting average, .271 on base percentage, 20 hits and 11 RBI ... Posted a .327 average and knocked in 25 RBI on 35 hits to secure a runner-up finish at the Class 5A State Championships in 2022 ... Led the Vikings to a 28-6 record, claiming St. Louis Post Dispatch All Metro First Team, Missouri State High School Athletic Association Second Team All District and Gateway Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors as a junior ... Also garnered MSHSAA First Team All-District, Gateway Athletic Conference Second Team All Conference, MSHSAA All-Region Second Team and Gateway Athletic Conference All Academic Team accolades following her sophomore campaign ...
