My name is Carly Manchester! I ran in high school at IC Catholic Prep. and grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois.
My parents are Heather and Dave Manchester. And I have one younger brother (Trey) and a younger sister (Dori)!
At Creighton I will be entering into the medical field, still undecided in a major.Â
I knew I wanted to be a Bluejay when I visited Creighton for the first time and felt like I felt so welcomed and comforted by the close family-like environment!
Throughout high school I gained many achievements in both Cross Country and Track. In Cross country I was all-state 4x and in Track I was all state 3x in the 3200m, 2x in the 1600m, and 1x in the 800mÂ
One interesting fact about me is that I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Illinios shortly after.Â
One running superstition that I always do well on race day if I eat a plain bagel with butter for breakfast!Â
My favorite running spot is the Prairie Path in my hometown, Elmhurst!
If I could go on a run with any three people, living or dead, it would be with my friends I have been running with my whole life Kennedy, Kate, and Frankie.
When I am not running, I am spending time with friends and family.
Although it is cheesy, my favorite movie is the Kissing Booth!
My favorite food is any kind of Pasta!
Throughout my High school Academic career, I managed to stay on the High Honor roll throughout all 4 years of school by keeping my GPA above a 4.5. Also, I was named an Illinois state scholar and a Monsignor Plunkett scholar (top 8 in class)!
