Name: Saige Christen
High School: Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy
Hometown: Harvey, Louisiana
Parents/family: My #1 fans since day one are my parents: Tiffany Christen and Roland Christen. I also have a pretty cool brother, Ethan Christen.
Major: Currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Philosophy with a minor in Criminal Justice, Pre-professional interest in Law
I knew I wanted to be a Bluejay when Coach Fayers tried to convince me everyone in Nebraska had a British accent in our first meeting. Just like him: Coach Gannon and the team were so welcoming and it was nonstop jokes and laughter when I visited Creighton; I simply felt at home.
Interesting fact about me: I work at the Audubon Zoo back home and have held exotic snakes, turtles, and skinks! My favorite part of working there is when I got to feed the giraffes and elephants.
Running Superstition: I have to eat spaghetti the night before any race and an orange before warmups.
Favorite Running Spot: Audubon Park or the Gretna Levee back home.
If I could run with any three people, living or dead, it would be: Sydney McLaughlin, Katelyn Tuohy, or Britton Wilson
When I am not running, I am: Sleeping or eating !!!
Favorite Movie: I don’t really watch movies because I’m more of a reader. I love watching anything Marvel, though.
Favorite Food: This is a hard one because I just love eating. I have to do a top five: My dad’s 1. spaghetti, 2. gumbo, and 3. crawfish; my mom’s 4. steak, potato, and green bean plate; my step mom’s 5. sushi boards.
