Best memories of running:
Sophomore year, her team had a Sunday morning run through a blizzard. It was the first snow of the year and it was freezing and their feet were soaked but they sang Christmas songs the whole run and had a great run anyway.
Most embarrassing running moment:
During a neighborhood run in high school, she tripped over an “invisible” sidewalk crack and fell into a summersault to catch her fall. She got up unharmed, but the whole team was pointing at her shoulder and laughing. She had rolled right into a pile of dog poop and it was all over her jacket.
