Pappas comes to Creighton after four seasons (2017-20) at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and two seasons at Davidson (2015-16). Prior to that, she had spent a year in her home state of Iowa at Ashford University in Clinton and the 2013 season as an assistant coach at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C.
With VMI, Pappas served as the Interim Head Coach during the spring of 2019 and as the recruiting coordinator. While at Davidson, Pappas was the primary goalkeeper coach for the Wildcats.
Prior to moving to Belmont Abbey, Pappas was a graduate assistant at University of Central Missouri where she coached under Lewis Theobald. Pappas earned a master’s degree in special education at Central Missouri.
A four-year letterwinner at South Dakota State (SDSU), Pappas played goalkeeper for the Jackrabbits from 2006-2010. In 2008, Pappas helped SDSU to its first Summit League Conference Championship title in school history and then assisted the Jackrabbits to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Pappas has her NSCAA Goalkeeper licenses levels 1, 2 and 3, NSCAA National Diploma. In addition, she holds three USSF License (C-2019, D-2016 & E-2015).
