Earnest arrives after four seasons at the University of San Diego, including two years each as an assistant coach and the Director of Basketball Operations. Among his duties there were overseeing team travel, equipment purchases and the budget.
Prior to USD, Earnest was at Wyoming (2002-03) in the position of Administrative Assistant Basketball coach for the Cowboys. He helped prepare and organize home visit booklets and itineraries for official campus visits; created a recruiting database, developed scout tapes and composed and distributed letters to prospective student-athletes.
