During Creighton's match against No. 12 Loyola-Chicago (Sept. 27), three Bluejays picked up their first career goal or assist.
Mitch LaGro opened the scoring for Creighton with his first career goal. Julius Fohr recorded his first assist on the same play.
Luke Haakenson scored his first career goal for the third and final Bluejay goal.Â

Riggs Lennon claimed College Soccer News National Player of the Week honors on Monday. The senior scored the game-winning goal against No. 9 Butler on Friday. Â
He was named the Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week on Sept. 27 and claimed a spot on the TDS Team of the Week for the second consecutive week.
He is the first Creighton player to earn national player of the week status since Fabian Herbers claimed College Soccer News National Player of the Week recognition last season (Sept. 14). Â
Lennon also earned a spot on this week's College Soccer News National Team of the Week.Â
He has nine goals this season to lead the Bluejays. Lennon had seven goals during three seasons at Virginia before transferring to Creighton for his final season of eligibility.
Kapp On Goal
Senior Alex Kapp notched his sixth shutout as a Bluejay against No. 9 Butler on Oct. 7. He had two clean sheets all of last season in 10 starts at Boston College.Â
Kapp now has 13 career shutouts through 47 career starts in goal.Â
He also has 44 saves through 11 matches this season, while allowing five goals in 1050 Â minutes of action. Kapp's .898 save percentage ranks first (tie) in Division I.
The senior did not allow a goal for 286 minutes and 33 seconds; a span that streched from the 13th minute of Creighton's match against UNO (Sept. 5) to the 10th minute of the first BIG EAST contest against Seton Hall (Sept. 17).Â
