CAMPBELL
Recording its highest offensive output since April 13, 2013, Creighton put the Fighting Camels (0-1) away early on in th Bluejays' opening matchup, scoring eight runs in the second inning and seven runs in the third.
With runners on second and third with two outs in the bottom of the second, the Bluejays' bats opened the flood gates.
A double by Aujanae McCoy plated Tash Coffiel and Bry Flanagan, setting into motion a stretch that saw nine consecutive Creighton batters reach base safely.
Following McCoy's double and a fielding error that allowed Kelsey Allender to reach base—scoring McCoy in the process—junior righthander Katie Baker lost her command. Baker issued three consecutive walks and hit Jen Daro with a pitch before being replaced in the cirlce by freshman Caroline Smith.
Smith then issued back-to-back walks to Sam Crowley and Coffiel before allowing an RBI single to Trulin. Trulin's RBI single stretched Creighton's lead to 8-0.
A three-run third inning highlighted by a two-run homer by Amber Schisler cut Campbell's deficit to 8-3; however, the Bluejays offense picked up right where it left off.
Creighton began the bottom of the third by loading the bases, setting the stage for the Bluejays' 5-7 hitters.
Back-to-back singles by Reinhart and Daro scored three runs. Flanagan then tripled to right field to extend Creighton's lead to 13-3.
Schisler, who had homered for Campbell in the previous half inning, then replaced Smith in the pitchers' circle, allowing two more runs.
Campbell was unable to get any closer over their next two batting frames, and Creighton earned a 15-3 win in five innings.
Sydnee Eck got the win for the Bluejays, striking out five batters over three innings. Freshman lefthander finished off the game, allowing no runs in two innings of work.
The last time Creighton scored 15 runs or more in a game was in a 16-6 victory over Indiana State on April 13, 2013.

OKLAHOMA
Creighton followed up its impressive 15-3 win over Campbell with a strong showing versus nationally-ranked Oklahoma.
Despite the Sooners jumping out to a 7-0 lead, Creighton battled back, tallying four runs in the fourth.
An RBI-double to right center by Flanagan got the Bluejays on the board. Then, three consecutive singles by McCoy, Allender, and Blake Ringle accounted for three more runs, trimming Creighton's deficit to 7-4.
Oklahoma added a pair of runs in the fifth, and two more in the sixth to seal its 11-4 win.
