Women's Basketball Announces Complete 2017-18 Schedule

Bluejays to Play Three Games on FS2 or FS1
Omaha, Neb. -- The BIG EAST Conference and Creighton head coach Jim Flanery announced the complete 2017-18 schedule for the Bluejays on Thursday, Sept. 14, featuring three nationally televised contests. Game times for the non-conference schedule were also unveiled.

The BIG EAST season begins on Thursday, Dec. 28 as the Bluejays play six games in a ten-day span during the winter break. Creighton's first contest pits the Bluejays against Villanova (Dec. 28) in a home contest at 7:00 pm. The following contest brings Georgetown to Omaha on Dec. 30 at 1:00 pm.
The first BIG EAST road contest is also Creighton's first appearance on national televison as the Bluejays face Seton Hall in New Jersey on Jan. 2 at 6:00 pm. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 (FS2). Three days later the Bluejays face St. John's in New York on Jan. 5 at 6:00 pm.
A quick turnaround brings the Bluejays home for another FS2 contest, this one has Creighton hosting Marquette on Jan. 7 at 1:00 pm. Another pivotal battle comes at home with DePaul on Jan. 10 at 7:00 pm.
The first half of conference play concludes with a home game against Providence (Jan. 13), followed by road games with Butler (Jan. 19) and a Monday road contest at Xavier on Jan. 22.
Creighton hosts St. John's (Jan. 26) and Seton Hall (Jan. 28) to begin the second half of BIG EAST action. The month of February features five road contests at DePaul (Feb. 2), at Marquette (Feb. 4), at Providence (Feb. 10), at Georgetown (Feb. 23) and at Villanova on Feb. 25 on FS1.
The Bluejays final two home games of the regular season come on Feb. 16 versus Xavier at 7:00 pm and against Butler on Feb. 18 at 1:00 pm.
The BIG EAST Tournament will be played in Chicago at the Wintrust Arena beginning with the opening round on Saturday, March 3. The quarterfinals will be played on March 4, while the semfinals and final are on March 5-6, respectively.
