Men's Tennis Tallies Three Mini-Dual Wins During Day Two Of Bulldog Hidden Dual

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Creighton men's tennis team tallied three mini-dual victories on Saturday during the second day of the Bulldog Hidden Dual, hosted by Drake University.
The Bluejay duo of Stratton Brown and Armando Gandini recorded a pair of mini-dual wins, while Nick Campbell and Jose Oscar Diaz combined for one.
Campbell and Diaz opened the day with three wins against a pair from Nebraska-Omaha. The pair earned a tiebreaker win in doubles and each individual claimed straight-sets singles wins to record the dual victory. Diaz earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Jacob Weber and Campbell tallied a 6-2, 6-2 win against Mason Sniatynski.
Brown and Gandini claimed a close win against a Drake pair, 9-7 before Gandini picked up a 6-4, 7-6 (2) win in singles action against the Bulldogs' David Nyman.
The duo of Brown and Gandini continued the day with three wins against Weber and Sniatynski from UNO. The doubles match resulted in an 8-2 win, while Brown downed Sniatynski, 6-4, 6-2 and Gandini won 7-5, 6-2 over Weber.
Creighton will finish up play at the Bulldog Hidden Dual on Sunday morning.
