Men's Tennis Concludes Play At Bulldog Hidden Dual

Creighton will return to action for the spring season, beginning with a match on Jan. 18 against Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Creighton men's tennis team concluded play at the Bulldog Hidden Dual on Sunday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center on the campus of Drake University.
Stratton Brown and Armando Gandini ended the weekend with a 2-1 mini-dual victory against a pair from Marquette. The pair defeated the Golden Eagles 8-3 in doubles action. Gandini clinched the dual with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Stefan Dragovic.
Also, Nick Campbell collected a straight-sets singles victory, but the Campbell and Diaz dropped their mini dual against Nebraska-Omaha. The Bluejays lost a close 8-6 doubles match before Diaz did not play a singles match because of injury.
Based on a points system, Brown and Gandini tied for sixth place out of 14 with five points during the three-day event, while Campbell and Diaz tied for eighth with four. Brown and Gandini collected a 3-1 mini-dual record and Campbell and Diaz finished 2-2.
