
Men's Soccer's Connor Ramlo Named To 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team

Ramlo claims a 3.98 cumulative GPA
Ramlo owns a 3.98 cumulative GPA while studying finance in the Heider College of Business and plans to attend law school following the completion of his undergraduate studies. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native played in 10 matches and made nine starts during the 2019 campaign. The senior centre-back played five complete matches and started seven of Creighton's 10 home matches. He tallied one shot against DePaul (Oct. 23).
Creighton ended the 2019 season with an 8-7-2 overall record and tied for fourth in the BIG EAST with 13 points from a 4-4-1 mark.
Ramlo is the ninth Bluejay in program history to earn Academic All-American status. Last season, Sven Koenig earned First Team Academic All-America honors.
The senior defender is also one of two BIG EAST men's soccer players listed on this year's Academic All-America teams as Xavier's Samson Sergi made the Second Team.
Western Michigan's Anthony Bowie earned the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.
Of the 34 members on the Academic All-America® Division I men's soccer teams, 11 boast a perfect 4.0 GPA. The 11 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.96, with the entire men's team holding a collective average GPA of 3.92.
