Softball Adjusts Weekend Plans, Will Now Head To Carbondale

Bluejays will play at Charlotte West Stadium on the campus of Southern Illinois

OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton softball team will be adjusting its schedule for the upcoming weekend. The Bluejays will no longer be traveling to Chattanooga, Tennessee because of forecasted inclement weather. The team will now travel to Carbondale, Illinois and play Friday through Sunday at Charlotte West Stadium on the campus of Southern Illinois.
Creighton will face Saint Louis, Southern Illinois and Evansville during its trip to Carbondale.
The Bluejays are scheduled to face Saint Louis at 10 a.m. and Southern Illinois at 12:15 p.m. on Friday before playing Evansville at 10 a.m. and SIU at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday. Creighton is not scheduled to play any games on Saturday because of forecasted rain.
Creighton enters the weekend with a 4-5 record after finishing its stay at the Mean Green Classic in Denton, Texas this past weekend with a 3-1 record.
