Jake Holton Earns Collegiate Baseball All-America Honors

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball junior Jake Holton added another honor to his 2019 collection as the Bluejay first baseman was named a Third Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball on Thursday, May 30.
Jake closed the regular season with a team-leading .405 average, a team-best 14 home runs, second for Creighton with 56 RBI and a team-high .726 slugging percentage. Selected as the BIG EAST Player of the Year, Holton continued to rake during the conference Tournament as the California native collected a BIG EAST All-Tournament Team selection.
Holton and the Bluejays open play in the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 31 against Michigan at 3:00 pm (CT) on ESPN3 in Corvallis, Ore.
